ABOUT M&E FLUTES
where it all began
M&E Irish Flutes are produced in the west of Ireland. Knockmullen View in Co. Mayo is the home of Michael and Evelyn Cronnolly. As a young flute player, Michael built his first flute, pictured below, from an oak wheel spoke taken from a horse-drawn carriage.
The first M&E Irish flute was handcrafted from oak over fifty years ago.

MEET OUR YOUNG MUSICIANS
the future of music
Meet 11-year-old Niamh playing an M&E Flute. Many customers comment on how easy they find it to play one of our polymer flutes.
"To put it mildly, I was blown away because this flute is a real gem! Beautiful tones from top to bottom, easy to play, full of character (warm, sweet, and reedy). M&E earned my respect big time and that's all there is to it." - Online Review
